The most famous arak in Lebanon. Distilled grapes flavored with anise. This arak is distilled three times and aged in clay jars for 6 months. It has a hint of sweetness and a fresh finish.
In Lebanon, Arak is traditionally drunk with mezze. It is served in small glasses with 50% arak and 50% fresh water with ice cubes. In Europe it is enjoyed as an aperitif with 1/5 arak and 4/5 fresh water with ice cubes.
