Here the term "Président" stands for the French winegrower who fled from phylloxera and settled in Maghreb as a wine-growing estate owner in the middle of the 19th century.
The cuvée comes from the varieties of the southern Rhône: Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Syrah. All grapes belong to the guaranteed AOG growing areas of Algeria: Mascara, Dahra, Tessalah, Tlemcen, Médéa or Zaccar.
The wine is very pleasing and a good accompaniment to lamb and beef and braised vegetables.
